Terms and Conditions: Kador2door Marketplace

Welcome to Kador2door. By accessing or using the Kador2door platform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Role of the Platform

Kador2door acts as an online marketplace to connect Buyers and Sellers. We do not manufacture, store, or inspect the items listed for sale. Consequently, the quality, safety, or legality of the items is the sole responsibility of the Seller. By using this platform, you acknowledge that Kador2door is not a party to the contract of sale between the Buyer and Seller.

2. Payment and Transaction Terms

When a Buyer purchases an item, Kador2door processes the payment on behalf of the Seller. These funds are held in a secure clearing account. Payment is deemed "complete" only upon successful delivery verification via the app. Kador2door reserves the right to deduct a service/commission fee before remitting the balance to the Seller.

3. Delivery and Courier Services

The Courier is an independent contractor engaged to facilitate the transfer of goods from Seller to Buyer. Kador2door provides the logistics software to track this movement. Our liability for items in transit is limited to the courier service fee, unless an optional shipping insurance is purchased at the time of checkout.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Jamaica, the Platform shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. In no event shall the Platform’s total liability to any party exceed the total amount of service fees paid to the Platform in the six (6) month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

5. Data Protection

The Platform processes all personal data in accordance with the Jamaican Data Protection Act (2020). By creating an account, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your personal data as necessary to provide the services.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.

Return and Refund Policy

  

Kador2door Return & Refund Policy

At Kador2door, we want fair and safe transactions for everyone.
 

You may get a refund if:
- Your item was not delivered
- You received the wrong item
- Your item is damaged
- The item is very different from the listing
- The seller does not complete the order
 

Time to request:
- Please report issues within 24–72 hours after delivery
 

No refunds for:
- Change of mind after receiving the item
- Items that match the seller’s description
- Delivery delays outside our control
- Digital items once delivered
 

How refunds work:
- We review the issue between buyer and seller
- You may need to send proof (photo or video)
- Approved refunds go back to your payment method or wallet in 3–10 days
 

Important:
We may take action on users who try to misuse refunds.
